S2T Corvette C6 Paddle Shifter Instructions
Instruction Manual: Chevrolet Corvette C6 2006-2013 Paddle Shifters

Thank you for purchasing S2T Performance Paddle Shifters for your vehicle.  We hope you enjoy them and the benefit they add to your driving pleasure as much as we have enjoyed creating them for you.  These paddle shifters are made from the highest quality aluminum and are manufactured at our facility right here in the USA.

The S2T Corvette C6 Paddle Shifters can be used in the Standard OEM configuration but are designed to be used with a 'F1' paddle shifter switch module which is available separately from most aftermarket Corvette parts suppliers.

Installation:

#1. Disable the SIR (Supplemental Inflatable Restraint) Airbag system.  Disconnect the negative battery cable and pull the SIR Airbag fuse (please refer to factory repair manual).
#2. On the side of the steering wheel there are two circular openings, place the wheel so that one opening is on top
#3. Using a blunt-ended tool, push the spring fastener inward through the access hole.  Repeat the process for the remaining side.
#4. Turn the steering wheel upside down and rest the airbag on top of the wheel.  Disconnecting the Airbag is unnecessary.
#5. Remove the steering wheel trim cover by unscrewing the Torx screws to allow access to the paddle shifter switch.  Disconnect the electrical connections.
#6. Remove the Torx screws securing the paddle shifter switch module.  Disconnect the electrical connector (Repeat this process for the other side).  Remove the paddle shifter switch modules from steering wheel.
#7. Remove the Phillips screws securing the paddle shifter switch module cover.  Gently separate the cover from the assembly.  Keep the Phillips screws.  They will be reused.
#8. Using a small Flathead screwdriver, pop-up the shifter pivot arm retainer.  Insert the Flathead screwdriver and pry the pivot arm out and then up to remove the arm from the assembly.  Please be careful not to lose the retainer, or damage the arm, or the housing.
#9. Remove the Phillips screws holding the pivot arm to the factory paddle shifter.  Slide the pivot arm out of the paddle shifter assembly
#10. Install the pivot arm into the new S2T Performance Paddle Shifter using the supplied Allen screws.
#11. Reinstall the pivot arm retainer half-way.  Insert the pivot arm into the retainer and bottom hinge.  Carefully push down and snap the pivot arm into place.  Push down on the pivot pin retainer to insure proper fitment.
#12. Reinstall the paddle shifter switch module cover using the original Phillips screws.
#13.  Reinstall the paddle shifter switch module with new installed S2T Performance Paddle Shifters using the original Torx screws.  Reconnect the electrical connections.  Reinstall the steering wheel trim covers and repeat the process for the remaining side (Later model C6's may require some minor trimming of the plastic steering wheel shroud to make clearance for the Paddle Shifter to engage the factory switch).
#14. Straighten the steering wheel and reinstall the SIR Airbag.  Please make sure the Airbag locks into place on both sides.
Congratulations!  Your new S2T Performance Paddle Shifters are now installed.
